Are you a fan of soccer? Join the KYSA soccer club league.
There is a new exclusive offer to join one of the KYSA’S Adult league in the Warner Rentals Soccer Dome this winter. If you and your child are interested in soccer, there is a greater opportunity for both to experience this amazing sport. Are you looking for a coach that will guide you and your child with amazing technique and skills? Look no further. The KYSA registration is open and all programs are offered under their “Return to play plan” and will follow enhanced safety protocols.
The 6 weeks program also offers you the flexibility to choose one or both phases. Phase number one starts this fall from November to December, Phase number two starts from January to February. Some programs will involve player to player contact activities (i.e. small sided games) while others do not. Participants may only register in a single “contact” program per phase but may register in a contact program and a socially distanced program concurrently. The Registration deadlines are October 28 for phase one and December 14 for phase two.
The KYSA counts with fantastic staff and coaches that will ensure that their players have great experiences on the field. Coach John Moon has been working with his daughter Megan Scott to coach her son Calvin Scott and the 2013 Boys in their “Return to Play program” throughout the summer and fall! John is a former KYSA Board member and long time community coach.
The KYSA community has grown over the years, they now count with amazing scholarship programs that are presented to selected students proceeding from Grade 12 to a university or other accredited post-secondary institution. The committee chooses each candidate on a variety of criteria, such as an applicant’s scholastic achievements, participation in school activities, and leadership qualities.
“Soccer really helped me develop my skills, I got six or seven years to become a better player and I took those skills for my post-secondary education and thanks to this organization I am where I saw myself in the future” said Cole Hooper current player at the TRU men’s soccer team and KYSA grad.
The KYSA is a different type of facility who is focused on individual’s growth and skills. Players experience a fun and safe environment that makes them want to come and recognized their commitment.
The KYSA is a non-profit organization that operates a soccer program for approximately 360 kids in Kamloops. The Kamloops youth soccer is been around for 50 years from Kindergarten to grade twelve.
